No way madrid would part with him. plus they already have a crowded midfield. Im not taking anything away from cesc. He is an outstanding player, and plays a dif role than robinho so to say one is better than the other is difficult. However, Madrid has shown the propensity to buy outstanding players of Barca Origin, Including ronaldo AND figo! and more recently, saviola. From what I understand, robinho and his clan of "old men" (robben, sneijder, van nistelroy, sergio ramos, cannavaro) are leading the league over little clubs such as FC Barcelona, Sevilla, and Valencia. I agree that Arsenal does not need to take that offer because cesc is doing a fine job there, but robinho was a much higher regarding recruit than cesc was. Every club in Europe wanted the kid who Pele called his "protege".
