Polish goal was not offside at the time of the shot and deflection.
Austria did not deserve a bail out in this game, even though the penelty was very well taken. The game was Austria's to win with all of those chances yet they couldn't score, I don't like such a ticky tack penelty given in the 90th minute.

Oh, and off course it shouldn't be penatly in last minute. It could had been earlier, when Golański was keeping one of the Austrians.

BTW. Undoubtedly, it was a match of two worst teams on Euro. Again, we are showing horrible antifootball.

I am Polish and I have pretensions only to our team, which was playing one of the worst matches in recent years. Altought - it is no reason to say that we should have lost first half by few goals. After all - the goalkeeper is also a player, not an incidental fortune's gift.

It looks that goal for Poland was from off-side. I am still waiting for day, when Poland will play like in 70-80. But for know - we have no chance with Croatia. Sorry for my English.

Thanks Fred54 - it's so great that you upload these highlights for those of us who don't get to watch the matches!
As to the controversy in the game - interesting how these things even out. The penalty was very soft, but on the other hand the Polish goal should not have been allowed due to the offside. I wish the Polish fans could stop grousing - they were lucky to get anything from the game, as Austria should have buried them in the first half.
I don't support either side, but I'm looking forward to Austria vs. Germany: I think the Germans will win, but it should be a cracker!

It was a penalty.
Brave but good decision by the referee. Poland didn't deserve anything as again they were poor and have offered nothing to this tournament. Both teams deserve to go out anyway and will no doubt, can't see Austria beating Germany.

the penalty at the last moment was a huge call, the tug at teh shirt wasn't worthy of a penalty whatever any1 may say. However the foul on Ivanschitz was crystal clear earlier on in the box, even if he DID fall rather late.

I'm a neutral fan, and whatever the decisions of the referee were, I think austria just about did enough to have deserved the point.
