I agree that it was offsides but that foul in the box that cole committed on denilson wasnt called for penalty so it cancels out. Besides, This is part of soccer and the refs are human. From his angle, the linemen thought that it looked like the offside pass onto van persie was actually a mis touch from a chelsea defender.

Van Persie was offside on his first goal, and if Arsenal don't score that goal they don't have the momentum to score the second goal. Both sides had bad call against them, but the calls against Chelsea (or rather, the lack of a call against arsenal) cost Chelsea the game.
