Interesting you say Manchester walked on prepared to lose. Chelsea had three opportunities to beat Manchester for silverware and failed. If Manchester deserved anything it was definitely CL we shud have been up 4-0 in the first 30 min if it wasnt for Cech . Terry missing was pure karma in my opinion because he got away with murder all season i.e handballs in the box and dirty defending due to lack of pace. Manchester fans make excuse for poor performances possibly but Chelsea have no excuses whats so ever. They have more depth then any team on the planet yet are unable to win champions league and or the league consistently. As for scoring late/injury time goals thats something we stole from Chelsea's two winning season. You know as well as I thats something good teams just do. Score when they must. Chelsea's roster has beens F%#$(*@ amazing last 5 years but yet they cannot win CL and have only gathered 5 pieces of silverware in that time compared to Manchester's 8 trophies.

Hold on a minute??? Chelsea poor against the top teams, was actually the opp las season and Manu struggled to produce wins against Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool all season... They won the season, pretty much down to late/injury time goals in games where they were drawing, mostly scored by Tevez... That kind of luck can only hold out so long. And the champions league well ev1 knows Chelsea played a better game for the most part. In truth it wasnt a game you won, but a game we lost, all we had to do was hit the back of the net.. Ronaldo had stuffed up.

It still dosent take away that yet again, Man U fans cant stop making excuses for POOR performance... Instead of berating their team who walked onto the pitch allready prepared to lose.

Lets start by stating man u start every season so slow. Chelsea and Arsenal always start amazing and give it up towards the end of the season. Chelsea fans have no memory or else they would recall what took place last 5 games of the season. Chelsea usually beat lower table even mid table teams by at least 2 goals but have a very hard time beating Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester and Everton. Man U doesnt have better player then Chelsea but we have players who can give 100% the last 10 games of the season where it matters

Mikel was absolutely fantastic in this game. Every pass was pinpoint accurate. Also, Deco is turning out to be the perfect signing. COME ON CHELSEA!!!

PS Jus like to add... to all those ManU fans moaning about injuries.... Chelsea spent two months, Dec&Jan; las year wit injurys and African Nations absentees.... didnt stop us winning games... One minute your claiming strength in depth... then nxt you cant play with 4 players missing?? PS Your defence wan't injured, how'd you let one of the smallest players in the premiership score with a header from set piece???

PS Notice Giggs and Ferdinand having a row?? What kind of attitude for a opening fixture is that??? thats why you lost... your too arrogant to play as a team.

Just admit it was a POOR performance from a POOR squad, moaning and not trying.

Chelsea 4-0... looking superb class!!! we could do with offloading SWP and gtg Robinho or anotha top class winger....

lol.. Ronaldo.. please shut up you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.. Look at the start of last season - Man U drew with Reading (Who got relegated if you didn't know :P) so really its not that bad.. Also it isn't just Ronaldo missing - Tevez, Nani etc were also out.. So we were really missing a good finisher today - Hopefully we can get Berbatove or santa cruiz or someone to fill in that gap..

Think you have a good chance in the league this season, with a very good manager..
Still think it will be close with Man U.. We shall see..

Very interesting team, more loose up front, very fluid. Anelka is the secret weapon of this team. Deco is shwoing his true colors just like he did when he started playing for Barcelona. These guys are going to be dangerous this year.
