nitrodacunha you clearly dont get a bit of football. Tukery was not lucky, Germany was. Turkey played much better and deserved to win. Also there was a penalty that the referee didnt whistle like many other fouls, like the one on Lahm.
However, im very disapointed because it makes me sick to see how teams that dont play a **** can win all those matches.
Expecting Russia to win this Euro. Bye all :d

Respekt an die türkische B-Mannschaft, waren das bessere Team, haben das deutsche Mittelfeld von vorne bis hinten beherrscht.

Trotzdem war es auch von türkischer Seite ein eher schwaches Spiel. Die Türkei konnte die Überlegenheit nicht in zwingende Torchancen ummünzen und die Tore waren auch eher aus dem Zufall heraus. (Latte, nen Türken vor die Füße, kullerball unter Lehmann)
Deutschland hat es gereicht aus wenigen guten Spielzügen drei Tore zu machen... das macht dann eben Unterschied.

they were better, for sure! but even so they didn't have many scoring chances. the goals were a bit lucky. germany needed only a few good moves to make three goals... thats the difference between an averange team and a top favorite.

I have to say the turkish put on a great performance today despite having to deal with a decimated team, an alternate goalkeeper and other limitations. It seems that it was simply Germany's day, the turks had almost 4 times as many shots on goal as they did, but ultimately it didnt pay off for them. I have to say I am very impressed with Senturk's game and how he saves Turkey time and time again. Looking forward to the finals, good luck to all the teams!

Am I mistaken or did Turkey not concede three goals in todays match. All three goals were well played out. Not much luck in there. Germany's defence looked shaky. Despite that Turkey did not play well enough to benefit from it. One can hardly argue that Turkey was the better team.

Well if the Turks were smart enough they could have played with a big part of their A-team...or is it Germanys fault that they got so many yellow cards..think about it! That belongs to winning just as well.
Lehmann had a terrible night and you again shot 2 lucky goals. But please stop acting like the Turks were the better team. 2 lucky goals thats it. Were the German goals that lucky? **** no!

Germany are a very good tournament side. However Turkey were missing there 3 best attacking players in Nihat, Tuncay & Arda. They were also missing a top notch goalkeeper in Volkan. If they had those four available the match would have been quite different.

Germans are the overdogs but tonight it proves otherwise. It was a match the Turks possessed. with 8 players out either injury or suspension but they showed determination. They fought like a hero. I agree! Germany was simply outstanding today. Very cool finishing on all 3 of the goals. They played a cool, organized game against the side they lost twice in the last three encounters. I must also agree, though that Turkish football is on the rise. They are no longer the underdogs in big tournaments. This is perhaps the most exciting EURO I've seen so far!

Unlike other guys here, I accept that Turkey didn't play that well in the othee 3 games they won. But can you call it "just luck" when a team pulls a comeback in 3 games in a row?

As for the Germany side, I congratulate them for their victory and wish them luck for the final. They have to pull themselves together or else Spain or Russia will beat them terribly.

And finally, what was this euro cup about?! Most of Turkey's players got suspended cos of horrible referees. There were other horrible calls throughout the tournament which killed the quality of football and enjoyment for us, viewers.

It wasn't just referees either. There were some decisions that amused me to a great degree. Turkish keeper got a suspension for 2 games due to pushing an opponent. Schweinsteiger did the same and kicked the player while he was on the ground and got only a 1 game suspension for it.

Gotta love UEFA and it's double standards!!! Then again, that's how Turkish national team and club teams has been fighting against all these years. It's sad, just sad....

i agree turkey did play better in the first half with the hit by kazim off the crossbar and all those other runs. but in the second half germany played better and there should have been a penalty for germany when the turkish player tackled lahm on the side of the box and on the other side lahm did pull kazim but they didnt call it down on the other end. I can be more objective than you, I watched the all games but I never seen like that football.. yes I don t like Turkish people. and everybody knows greeks don t like them eighter.. but this is the point they play football. turkey played the football but germany won. I love turkish pation. Their pation came from OttamanEmpaire.. If their pation could have had us, Istanbul was gonna have Our state.. not their.. Anyway I wached them from begining the tournement. i saw their pation..and they have 9 missing players, they played better than Germany.. Germany was lucky..germany did not have any missig player but they have 6 or 7 attack .. anyway i guess Russia got the final game. champion can be Russia. The truth is Turkey were resilient and played great football. It shows great character when you can always score a goal when u need it. Even with a short squad they gave Germany a huge run for their money. I know this must be very bitter-sweet for the Turks, but they should be proud.
Turkey and Russia are responsible for making this Euro a very interesting one to watch.

Maybe your history knowledge is very poor. But, you have to know that Turks governed Europe about 500-600 years. You learned many thing from Turks. Who knows, maybe your grandfather of grandfather... is Turk, too. And now, Turkiye is Euroasian country. Our European part is bigger than some other European countries and Istanbul is one of the biggest cities of Europe. About 20-25 millions people live in European part of Turkiye, and i want to ask you that how many countries in Europe has more population of our European part? And why you don't talk about Israel? I Agree with you in this context. All the three goals done by Germans were equally great and well-planned. But the two made by the Turkish players were not so good or well-planned. The first was by luck and the later was a tricky one. I couldn't find a genius behind both the goals. It is their luck to pull two goals into the German net. They couldn't do another last-minute-circus before the Germans. I agree, the Germans were not so good in Semi-finals, as same as in the previous ones, but they look like a team, 'coz their players don't think about their individual goals, that's a great thing for any team. They don't allow to lose the continuity of the play... their goalkeepers, whether it is Kahn or Lehmann, pulls the ball, instead of taking them in their hands. If the four popular Turkish players, who were not present in the semis, were there, it maight be easier for the Germans, I think, 'coz the German could plan their game according to their play-style everyone has seen in their previous matches. We all know, it is difficult play against little-known and less-experienced players. Turkish players have missed a lot of chances, do you think, a good team can lose such a lot of chances in a single match so miserably? On the other hand, Germans utilized about 85% of all their chances in the match, that's another expression of a real champion.
Anyway, I hope the Germans may win the tournament too. But I like to see the real players to win, who are playing better the other team, whether it is Spain or Russia, ie, the better one should be win....!!!!

Thanx to fred for the post here in American we practicaly missed the second half due to loss of sat. feed ??? any way every game in this tournoment has been a Blast i have been watching football for 40 years and this is the top. Turkey played an excellent game truly with style against all the greats of Europe. Germans played a Calculated game and it payed off . Goalies mistake even at this high level can not be forgotten , he has to live with it for the rest of his life . oh well thay is soccer.

Everybody knows, that Germany does not always play the best football. But one has to confess, that one of their characteristics is the possibility to adjust their effort of playing to the opposing team. So one often sees tight results. The performance against Portugal was much better than yesterday. Not perfect but in a way that again was just sufficient to win.Stamina, strength and teamply of the 11 is great to watch.

Anyway, Turkey played a great tournament and despite of having lost, we had a great party throughout the night TOGETHER here in cologne. Great moral! respect!

I am German and yes it was lucky. But if you watch the goals only, Germany deserved to win. It was just luck, that Turkey reached the semifinal. But they played very good and with lot of passion yesterday and i think everyone respects that. But I hope, that Spain will reach the Final, cause Russia would be nothing without Gazprom and this company disrespects the human rights. And you can't say, that any team deserved to win the title, cause they all didn't show a great performance in all games till now.

Don't you think that the ball hitting the crossbar is also unlucky thing for Turkiye? And same for Kazim Kazim's shoot hit the crossbar. Don't you think Semih's goal is really difficult to score? Germans shooted only 5 times, but 3 of them were in. Turkiye played best football of this tournament against Germany. If we solve some defense problems, we can be Champion at World Cup 2010. If Arda, Tuncay, Nihat, Volkan, Servet could be played, we would be at final now.

tell me when did you support the german team in the past. They played horrible football until 2006 for the last 20 years.
Since then they really have improved.
They played a good match against portugal and poland.
i got to admit that they didn`t play a good match overall but they made some nice plays.
Especially the first and the third goal.

Your last point is wrong as well. Nobody remembers the loosers after a few years.
Which were the best teams in the group stage 2006?
Spain and Argentina.
And which teams were absolutly crab.
Italy and France.

Turkey were just pure skill, quality and talent in this cup they werent lucky its just that theyre asleep in the beginning but when someone scores against them they wake up. Turkey are now one of my favourites. Now i want spain to kick russia out of the cup ( because they won holland:((:(( ) and i want spain to kill germany ( because they won turkey:((:(( ) and also because spain have only won the euro cup once while germany won it three times ( and russia also won it once ).

I never liked the way Germans play but they do accomplish the result. But as a football fan I want to see a high paced, attacking, dynamic football - something that Germany lacks. And it doesn't matter to me if they get the result or not - I don't enjoy watching their games as, say Russians, Dutch, or Spain for that matter. The only game that Germans played ok - was a game against Portugal. I personally think that Russians play the most exciting football in Europe today.

Whatever the result may be today - there's no doubt that watching Russians play against Sweden was much-much more exciting than watching Spain play with the same Sweden team, or Russians play against Netherlands - which in my opinion was one of the best footbal games as long as I can remember.

At Czech Republic match, they scored 2 goals at first half, but second half Turkiye had played better and won the match. We had attacked very much and scored 3 goals. But don't forget that, 3 goals were because of our attacking football.

At Croatia match, yes Croatia played better than Turkiye. But Turkiye also had many positions and attacks. It is lucky for Croatia that they scored a goal at 118. minute and it is lucky for Turkiye that we scored a goal at 120. minute and won the match with penalty shoots. Don't forget that; yes Croatia was better but we had also many positions and attacks.

At Germany match, Germany didn't do anything other than scoring 3 goals. They haven't played football. We attacked at CZE and CRO matches many times and played football. But, yesterday Germany haven't played football other than scoring 3 goals. However, i respect them being as a tournament team. I am proud of my team and i hope we will be more successful at next tournaments with good referees.

Anyway, i think Spain or Russia will defeat Germany at the final. Because, they are better team than Germany. :)>-

The only reason why Germany deserved to win is because they were able to score one goal more than Turkey. On the other hand, Turkey played definitely better and should be proud. First off congrats to our Turkish friends. They played superb in a fair and square match. It was in their own hands to win. Neither a fishy penalty nor a red card compromised their changes.
@ all the others: I am sick of your moaning and groaning and your mantras: All the other teams have better players, play more elegant and deserve more to win blablabla. Yes I know we Germans are too dumb to straightly kick a ball and if we win then because we have incredible luck and all the referees give undue preference to us.
However we bunglers made it 15 times into a WC tournament We played 7 WC finals - more than any other team in the world - and won 3 of them. This Sunday we're going to play our 6th EM final and - of course only if we are lucky again - we'll ****** our 4th EM trophy. well first of all I'm very proud of my team. if we had played another team then germany we would have been in finals. but we all know the german team they know how to win in any situation,but have to say that I've been watching football in 12 years and I've never seen a german team that passive ,that disorganised and that frightened. 2 serious attacks and 3 goals... man that's football. we played our best with a shortened squad despite terrible refferees and undeserved bookings. it is nice that after 6 years we remembered that when we "play" football we enjoy the game and we win.

I'm very happy to see that in this tournament spain,russia,netherlands,crotia and turkey showed everyone that to win a match you have to attack and to play. the defensive football is fading and it's nice for us,who watch football to enjoy. Thanks to terim, bilic, hiddink and more...

I wish goodluck to germany and spain in final but have to say that germans need to play at least twice better than the last game to hope they may win against spainish team

the truth is that germany sucks. they were struggling against turkey who didnt even have their starting lineup. Volkan. Emre, Tuncay, nihat, Servet, and Arda were all gone. if turkey had those players i'm sure they could have easily defeated the germans. the germans were just lucky. the 2006 team was way better. both keepers on each side were horrible and especially lehman. They cant beat Spain like that. Spain will crush Germany. thats a no brainer.

Ok then, how about the fact that in this tournament for the first time yellow cards actually carried onto the quarter finals when before they were wiped clean. wonder what would have happened then? As for Luck, Klose's goal wasnt luck?? Big Rustu mistake! We had 5 injuries to go with the suspoensions. No its not Germanys fault that they had so many yellow cards, but i can tell you this any other referee on any other day Lahm would have been off with 2 yellows well before the final whistle. Did you actually watch the game?? Do you actually know what football is??? I doubt it mate!!!!

Your just mad cuz Portugal lost. Turkey was awesome but your a putz.....Germany played a game where the moments of magic were taken they deserved to win this game no matter what Turkey did........
