Torres is one of the few Liverpool players I admire. I do think that at times Torres and Gerrard are carrying the Liverpool team, but they are not robots, which means Rafa can't play them every single game.. That's probably why Liverpool is only going for 1 cup this season.

torres is a great player. a great striker.
unfortunately, he went to pool. darn. oh well. he would have had much better service at united, and then Rooney could be a 2nd striker which often makes him play better.

he gets marked out of games though. ferdinand had him in his pocket, twice.

and hes a diver. (worse than ronaldo IS, better than ronaldo WAS)

world class striker. deserves all the credit he gets, if not more. finishes so clean. he's got power and finesse. i agree with cory that he can get marked out of a game, but still, world class striker.

Nice compilation that. He was one of the few players to come out with any credit on Sunday against Manchester United for me. His booking before Mascherano was sent off was completely ridiculous too and Liverpool should be looking to appeal that decision.

much much better player than rooney. And the reason he wasnt good against Man Ure was becuase ferdinand kicked him and did dirty fouls against him when bennet wasnt watching. As usual refs always biased to help man ure and diver ronaldo. Fergie basically made sure bennet was going to b ref for that game so he could control him. Also tevez is a much better player than rooney. i think torrez is also better than ronaldo.
the real test for ronaldo is would he b good in la liga? torres has shown that he can score goals in two different leagues for two teams that aren't the biggest and best.

fernando torres is the best striker in the world by a mile! ghosts past defenders like they werent even there and only needs 2 touches all game 2 score (inter and arsenal show example of this...and they were f-ing amazing goals as well!) man ure fans please shut up and stop whinging. uv watched a torres compilation and left a post about utd? ***? all ur comments could b dismissed in seconds seeing as ud b nowhere without ronaldo who just happens 2 b the biggest cheat in the game. (check out "who the **** are man utd" on youtube...its awesome
