romania is definitely not an easy team. that being said, france had too many wasted opportunities, and should have put the game away on numerous occasions. though, i think a tie is fair representation of this match. the france v holland game should be an interesting one.

I thought the lineup was crap, and I think it comes down to Domenech's strange lineups and strange slections. Its no secret that the guy uses zodiac signs to pick players. I say he either gets his head together or go home.

even though most people will say, romania held france to no goals and a draw, well romania had absolutely NO chances. so idk how u can declare them to be good if they had half as many shots as france did and 3 yellows.

this is what happened to france in the 2006 world cup, they tied switzerland and there was a win/loss in the other game. and look where they got to - THE FINAL

France has too many defenders in midfield positions. They play like they are looking for a 1-0 victory. I could be wrong, but it seems like they are playing at the slow pace they used to fit Zidane's playing style, except they don't have a true central midfielder to hold possession and distribute. Ribery is not strong enough to hold the ball in the center of the park by himself. He needs more attacking players around him to combine with.

Domenech's decisions are worrying, benzema will be perfect ST it's sure but, he still needs time, It's very sad to see Henry sitting in bench, He can score even if he was dead, time is tickin for Domenech it's for sure... by the way good luck for turkey:) and of course for the other teams...

He's been a horrible coach forever. If he hadn't played 4-5-1 in the world cup they would have one. Soon France is going to have to rebuild...Dominic better get it together. He has too many good players not to win

france knew that this was a game to experiment without the cost of a loss. thats why they had the lineup with benzema, anelka, toulalan, abidal...now they know who can play what and if they can play against stronger teams such as holland/italy. in the upcoming games france will now play henry, evra, maybe sagna, viera. now the french will be stronger and deeper and they are the darkhorses in this tournament. everybody now thinks that france is over rated just because they drew against romania, but thats not the case.

I actually didn't realise Henry was injured (didn't watch Frances first game).

To be honest though I would be surprised if Henry scored as he has gone pretty crap lately as he now is at Barcelona...

france sucks either way they couldnt beat paraguay at their own home and they got lucky off that penalty witch they were also playing at home aginst colombia I MEAN CMON GET REAL FRANCE ISNT THE TEAM THEY USE TO BE STOP MAKING EXCUSES ABOUT PLAYERS BEING INJURED THEY SHOULD STILL BE ABLE TO KILL TEAMS LIKE THAT AT THEIR OWN HOME!!!

None of you guys have considered that Romania palyed verry good... Having in consideration the team, mostly young players and not much experience,they were abe to defense and not lose the game face to France wich is a strong team (aperantly) and favorite... Anyway I think that Romania get the wanted result... and for that I sayTHEY PLAYED WELL

England had a tough group Croatia and Russia aren't exactly easy to play against! If platini's super side played against these teams they would of gotten crushed

Roumania played very good for an outsider in the death group. Italy has a very hard game because they have to win.
It will be interesting to see how many "small" teams will pass the groups.
