Timmer wasn't guilty of the 2 goals but "supporters" always have to blame somebody...sad that there are people like that.

The problem for the dutch is not Timmer or Stekelenburg, its the awful lack on defending quality.. Ooijer and especially Matthijsen are just nog good enough for international level. And no, I also said this when Holland played against Italy and France.

Certainly worth a penalty, but I'm not sure that Stekelenberg was deliberately fouling a player in a goalscoring opportunity than going for the ball. The red card killed the friendly. Good job by the Aussies though... Still think we don't have the depth to go through in Asia. Let's see.

Interesting game....good job by Socceroos
Oh..Really?

Exactly, they need a better defence. during Euro 2008, Van Bronckhorst and Bohlarouhz were running their bums off. They need to find good defnders, and fast.

Holland are a few defenders away from being World cup/euro winners. Though im really glad that australia finally have a football/soccer team thats good enough. Thanks Guus and Frank Lowry for that!

i wasnt surprised to see Australia win, in all honesty Australia deserve to be in the top 20. they continue to trouble top teams and they keep getting better.
