Awesome performance......scum from london....watch out!!!......Carrick was amazing with his passing and Ronaldo, Rooney with their finishing......I really feel sorry for Eduardo.....Hope he recovers soon and starts playing....BUT IT WAS JUST AWESOME FEELING....to see McFaden put penalty pass the almunia....hahaha.......I guess in next 2 3 games united will again lead the table.......Arsenal can start thinking for next season;)

great to see rooney back in the scoring and finding his old finishing touch; his second goal was very well struck. old smudger almost nicked himself a goal; it would have been nice to see him score. i feel bad for eduardo, but i can't say i'm unhappy about united closing the gap at the top of the table.

Watch out Arsenal. Utd are coming to get you...
A 10/10 performance. Newcastle looked threatening and some of their attacks were scary. But our defence kept holding on, and conceding 1 goal from all of their attacks which is quite good.
It was all about Roo nd Ron .. Great goals all of them but Rooney's second goal was simply fabolous. Saha came in and scored, and I was also glad with his goal.. It was great teamwork between him and Rooney.
Carrick's passing was very good and some of Nani's crosses were breathtaken. Vida, Rio, Brown nd Evra formed a good backline, and today's attack was simply the best. The attack won us the match.
Not much to say, other than Arsenal should really watch out.. Slipping the title out of their hands is something Arsenal are used to ;]
But also want to say GWS to Eduardo.. He may not be playing for the team I support but long term injuries are good for nobody.

I am man utd fan.
I felt elated and will buy all the tabloid when utd won and felt horrible if they lose AND WOULD NOT EVEN WACTC THEIR LOSING MATCH AGAIN NEITHER WILL I READ ANY COMMENT FROM NO GOOD SPORT CRITICS. But I always believed a fair playing game.
You win gentlemanly and when you lose lets be gracious that we lose to the better team of that match. HEY THE BATTLE IS NOT OVER WE CAN STILL WIN THE WAR.
Lets be factual and not emotional.

Wow Man Utd seem to play excellent against Newcastle. Ronaldo was amazing once again. :) Why can't we play as good as that all the time, and that wasn't even our best! We would win everything if we could always play as good as that, or better!

i think us United fans are generally forgetting that we're still 3 points behind lol.
without takeing anything away form the great performance, we need to be consistant in the way we play, game in, game out, WHICH, we sadlly have not done very well.
if arsenal slowly crumble this season then we've got it in the bag (if chelsea dont get to close to us, which by todays performance shows we dont have a great deal to worry about).

I have to you that it feels so good to be a united fan. I have been a loyal fan since I was a little boy and I am always delighted by their wonderful performance. Today was no exception. Don't you feel so proud that you support the almighty red devils? I am and again I can't tell you how happy that makes me.
Excellent performance throughout the game. As most of you indicated, let us hope we can continue to play the beautiful game as we have been for years and continue to win games. Next stop ... OLD trafford, whose *** is gonna get kicked.... Portsmouth... COME ON UNITED...!!!

It was a wonderful performance, and I love the way they play. Still tho if it wasn't for foolishness Arsenal would still be 5 up. Its all good tho, it was always going to be a battle for first. Too bad Arsenal has so many injured players:(

ajit- hes got 4 yellows. now after the month ends the limit explands so he would need 6 yellows for a ban. if he had gotten a yellow later that game hed be out for like 2 matches.

dull?
We scored 2 more goals after he was gone, and Rooney Tevez and Saha were mixing it up pretty good. it wasnt dull. that game was great from about the 20 till the whistle. the first bit was a warm up

Did you imply if the game's direction has changed it cannot swing in the other direction? Assuming that Ronny is expensive to maintain, can I assume he is paid by the footballing minutes on pitch and/or training I heard it is in the range of 140K per week but then did not know about the fact that he is paid by the no of footballing minutes

Ajit- Don't even try to argue with micojoia because it's pointless. Just look at the comments from the FA Cup tie with Manchester United vs Arsenal. It was ******* ridiculous...but do what you want, I'm not going to stop you...just issuing fair warning.

Ajit-My point is that people argue for the sake of arguing and lack any substance in their arguments. I agree, I enjoy the entertainment aspect of the game, but others don't listen to what you or I say, and just pointlessly attack.
That's what's ridiculous...and it's usually a few dumb people on both sides when they childishly say "Man U sux" or "Arsenal sux" and waste everyone's time.
But I hope the best for everyone, just as long as Manchester United come out first. ;)
