It doesn't matter if the ball touches defender or not when the attacker is on the offside at the time the other player is passing the ball. You should read FIFA's Laws Of The Game before saying anything.

Absolutely right! When the ball is flicked on to the striker he is stone dead offside, the deflection is after the original flick on by the serbian.

It wasnt offside cause that wasnt a pass...

I doen't need to be a pass. The player was offside when it was lastly touched by his teammate. He was offside by more than a meter, which is not even a close call. It is a very bad call to let that goal stand.
It wasnt offside cause that wasnt a pass...
OK, probably I should use the word 'pass' before. However it doesn't change anything if it wasnt pass or not - really, go to FIFA webpage, find laws of the game and read it carefully. I did.

I totally agree with pacanier. Anyway, It is said that Portuguese Football Federation is going to sack him because of this incident.

Good Score! Scolari is an *******, he should be suspended for life. And once again we see that the portugese team always provokes the fights, like in the world cup, Holland-Portugal, Portugal-England, this game, and Im sure many many more. Portugal should be disqualified from playing football ever again.

Is it because they are such a small country and have such a good team (one of the best in the world, which already has been proven based on their past results and their world ranking), or is it because you no nothing about soccer and just feel like writing something here for no other reason? In regards to Scolari, everyone might be in for a surprise. The ref. , who robbed Portugal of their 2 extra points by allowing the offside goal, said in his report that the Serbian player was the one provoking the Portuguese players and coach. So, I have a feeling he will be the one :(( and not Scolari.

You are partly right, Scolari was upset for losing the 2 points they deserved to have, but it was the Serbian player who hit Scolari in the arm, and that is what Scolari reacted to at the time. Anyone would have reacted like Scolari in the same situation. And by-the-way, what Scolari did was wrong, and he admits it. That Serbian player has been in similar trouble before, that's how he is.
