Yea Itd be great to have Henry back at Arsenal. But remember what was said earlier? He was too imposing a figure for the other guys to step up and assume responsibility. He left and it forced Cesc, Adebayor, Eduardo, Bendtner, Walcott, and the rest to step up their game, and we achieved more success for it. If he were to come back, would it be a good thing? Its tough to say. Our future lies with Walcott, RVP having an injury-free season (please!!!), Adebayor continuing his form, and the continuing rise of Cesc Fabregas. Im not sure if Henry's return would promote their continued success or hamper it.

Of course it would be a postive! Henry's return would be glorious in that Cesc and Walcott are beginning to shine, and with a veteran of that caliber alongside, Arsenal would be unstoppable. Forever Gunners!

i dun agree that henry has lost his touch, he was put to a totally unfamiliar position this year and he still scored some goals...btw Barcelona played like **** this year and the whole team just collapsed, so next year we will see if henry is back or not

I would say Arsenal would more likely be in Mosco by now, if Henry stayed.
But in the long run, it is good to have the young players assume more responsibilities during the past season.

The players, in the first months of the season, came out and said Henry's leaving enabled them to open up. Where as with him, he was always imposing himself and shouting for the ball when he wasnt even in a good position. henry even said his leaving the club enabled them to play better. Arsenal would be in the final if the refs weren't *******, end of story. But thats how it goes

Barcelona played well everywhere except for the front, so, so ironically. At the end of the season the defense didn't look great, though. And did anyone see? Henry is now Barca's top scorer, with the limited time he's had on the field...

I hope he EITHER stays at Barca or goes back to Arsenal, but I would hate to see anything else. With Eto'o probably leaving, I think Henry can finally get that striker spot that he should have had in the first place, and if he stays, I'm sure next season will be a return to form. I agree that it might hurt Arsenal as a whole if he returned, but I'd still love to see that too. But I doubt Wenger wants him back, and besides, Arsenal needs a midfield this summer, not another striker.

Overmars! i think u r being jealous of Ronaldo & i attribute this to ur subjective comparison between CR & henry.Frankly, CR has been the best player in the premiersh in the last two seasons & am pretty convinced he will be even in the years to come owing to his age & desire to be a champion. i know u wld say argue that henry has not been playing in the premiership this season, but i would counter it by saying that last season he was by far much the best player in the league surpasing the likes of droba, fabrigas,gerald & henry himself. He was 3rd goal scorer, won the player & professional player of the year awards, came 2nd european player of year & 3rd world player of year. all these achievements were complimented with his good football skills. Besides, CR creates most of the goals he scores while henry had/s to depend on supply at least for 50% of his goals.Aready, if you check the web on the ratings for the current best player in the world, CR has already gotten over 80/% of the votes. However, henry too used to be good but currently he is struggling. So, as things stand, i can assure u that CR will be deemed a legend b4 the age of 25 because he has already shown people that he can be one.GO CR U R THE BEST!!!!

I would like to see Henry back at Arsenal. Adebayor is good but he doesn't seem all that consistent and I'm not sure how Eduardo is doing. And I think it would be absolute dynamite if we were to see Henry and Van Persie up front together again with Walcott on the wing. Just imagine what that would be like!

Yea obviously I'm an Arsenal supporter but c'mon give it up, Henry is simply the best striker the world has seen up to date. i'd like to see him play at arsenal again too, but what about adebayor, bendtner, walcott, van persie, da silva? If Henry comes back he will be his amazing self for a couple more years, but the youngsters need playing time to develop. Sure they can learn from one of the greatest strikers in history, but they need to play in games and Henry returning could hinder their development.

Ronaldo has more talent I would agree but there's a difference which makes Henry great. Henry is a LEGEND. He even had more goals than Eto'o and people said he sucks in Barcelona. He pretty much almost never started and still is the best striker in Barca. Whenever I watch a Barca game, Henry is always the most energetic. He runs the most, and he has amazingly young legs for a man his age to be able to run past defenders. Always a Legend Henry but Ronaldo is a newbie but he aint far away from becoming a legend already.

as much as we would the arsenal fans would like to see henry back in the gunners uniform, i think we all realize the great it has done for some of the younger players by henry leaving the club. I think the balance in the team that wenger has created now will be broken. Not many ppl gave our season a chance in hell but we ended up coming 3rd and thats without eduardo, tomas and RVP for most of the season! we'd love Henry back, maybe as a coach :-?
