7 cards just to get one last minute goal which they dont deserve....but u can really blame them, after all MU are but a bunch of sissies who rely on cheating to draw a match(not even winning). y cant u guys be like Arsenal, fantastic football and goals, good manners, even greater spirit. that s really how the EPL champion of 07/08 should be like! We don't deserve that goal? Nah, you're wrong.. Its true that maybe we were not the better side but we kept on fighting until the last second.. nd you saw the result.. And dw hun, we'll catch ya soon ;) Don't count the chickens b4 they hatch..

... We should have NO complaints about the result. Tottenham were the better side, nd we should feel lucky to have scored that last minute [ should I say second? ] attempt altough we worked VERY hard for it.

7 yellow cards against our side with the consequence that now Rooney will miss the derby match. Well, I just have to say that altough many of the yellow cards were deservedly, the referee was clearly against us. In my opinion, that elbow hit from Huddlestone to Edwin Van Der Sar was stupid and no questions - nd Jermaine Jenas should have also got a red card. The ref was the main prob yesterday.

We needed Anderson and Nani so much, with Giggs and Scholes it wasn't just workin' out. Anderson or Nani should have started from the start, nd Fergie should make that a rule.. Never leave one of them on the bench. They're just too good to be wasted.
VDS made some fine chances, and he was right to complain to the referee after Berbatov's goal. It was a clear handball from Jenas - he handled the ball into Lennon's path.. & it WAS intentional. And for the appeal, he got a yellow card.. wow, what a decision by Clattenburg. The finest ref on eart.
Rooney deserved a goal.. For me he was the better man of our side altough there isn't much to chose from.. He kept fighting for the ball, running until the last second.
Tevez was our saviour.. without him we would have not grabbed that point. Better than none.
I think Fergie was right to make the Hargreaves- Carrick substitution in the begining of the half time.. Hargreaves is better than Carrick but today he just wasn't in the mood of stayin calm - there was sumthin wrong in him.
Ronaldo was quite throughout the 90 minutes.. I was expecting this, because against big teams, he is nearly invisible.. Saying that, he STILL is the best player livin' on earth at the moment. The opponents stay around him, not to let him make a move and that lets the other players in space.

Big appluas to Ramos' side.. But they threw away 2 points which they deserved.. Another hard day for United, yet Tevez was capable enough break our deadlock..

The only positive thing that I can see in this match is that once again we proved that we can have the worst day ever but still manage to get somethin' from it.. Its because we keep on fighting until the last second - sumthin' which no team can do every single match..

Awful game by Man. U, Tottenham fans are rightfully gutted. Happy we did manage to get the point though. Only positive to take out of the game is that even when playing the worst game of the season against a very good team we manage a point. And there's no point to moan about the ref's decisions from either side. Tottenham's first goal came after a dive (same thing for which Rooney was later booked for and will now miss the Manchester derby) and a handball from Jenas. Man U we're denied an absolutely clear penalty when evra was brought down in the box, however Tottenham should also have gotten a penalty for Evra's unintentional but clear handball. All in all dubious refereeing going both ways throughout the entire match.

i am a man utd fan and when i watched yesterday's match, except for the last 10-15 minutes or so, i would say that we were lucky to leave with one point. i do agree that spurs did very well.

Well, not our best performance. We were bead for the first hour. The last half hour we were the better team, and especially in the last 10 minutes, we had the spurs on the ropes. Great job Tevez, you touched the ball like 5 times the whole game and managed a goal. It wasnt a dawson own goal. Tottenham, subtracting the beginning of the season, are as good as liverpool, maybe better. they are more deserving of a big four spot.

Darth Maul- I disagree, we had them at some points in the game. A draw was a fair result.

arsene who- lol. you need to get a life. Most of those cards were stupid. He gave our players cards for some stupid things. Yes, we shouldnt have argued so much, BUT, there was a handball for the goal, so im pretty sure you would be complaining as well. Tevez got a card for taking his shirt off, which is a stupid rule. Rooney got called for a dive, which was realy he tripped, and then jenas dives on the other side, and the ref acknowledges it, and doesnt give a card... which would have been a 2nd yellow. this coming from a ref who is an admitted liverpool fan. Yeah, like he isnt biased at all. And you want us to be like arsenal, who earn their pretty goals (like against united where they got rebound and goalmouth scramble goals... which of course were very pretty and were 'earned' in your mind of course), have good manners (like when fabregas got his supposed friend kicked out of the game while rolling around for 5 minutes after being 'elbowed' in the face) and have great team spirit (like when adebayor assaulted his teammate). Thats how 'champions' (who havent won anything in a while) play. Arsenal may get beaten 5-1 (lol, owned) but they can score 6 against newcastle in 2 games (united scored that many in a single half). Exactly, we should all be like arsenal. United fans should shut up once in for all, because of course we dont know what we are talking about.

gerrard- lol, with that name, i think you are a liverpool fan. You have no right to say anything about draws. Foolish liverpool got 5 draws in a row and then a loss. They drew Luton, and went down twice to havant and waterlooville, the nonleaguers. In that same time period (january) United won 6 games, scoring like 19 ish goals, conceding once, and beating ALL premier league opposition in the fa cup.

pratik- the ref is a liverpool fan, what do you expect?

manutdasia- it was both ways. both team crowded for evrey decision. its just that the ref called more garbage against us, and he liked giving us more cards, even though spurs were doing the same thing.

arsenal fan- you deserved to lose 1-0 to us, so that would mean we'd be ahead of you by a point now. So the only thing arsenal deserves is to be behind united.

shon- jealousy is a pain in the butt isnt it?

gary- agreed, hes almost as good as cesc.

bboy- not that it matters, i just want to point out that today there may very well be team that wins every game in a season. the patriots in the superbowl. but thats american football (lame) so its way different than real football.

cesc- that title should go to cesc. Ronaldo doesnt hold his face and flop about for 5 minutes after being 'elbowed.' Ronaldo has actually been hit in the face this season and on two occasions theyve had to stop the game because of th blood pouring down onto his jersey. He still didnt flop about like cesc did.

to be fair, if all the major calls had went correctly, Jenas would have gotten a yellow card and Tottenhams goal would not have stood, Man U would have gotten a penalty for the foul on Evra, Tottenham would have gotten a penalty for Evra's handball, and Nani should have been sent off. That was an awful challenge and in all honesty warranted a red card, almost broke Chimbondas ankle. So assuming both teams would have scored from their penalties the score would have been 1-1 with Man U a man down at that point, so the game most likely would have still been 1-1 or even 2-1 to Spurs. But hindsight is always 20-20, but useless, eh fellas? still im glad for the point after such an awful performance. And does "Arsene who??" really think that only one game out of them all characterizes the entire team? Cause in that case i would describe Arsenal after YOUR game with the spurs as a lackluster side with no class, no skill, no passion, no pride, and doomed for relegation. sort yourself out.

cantona-there was a tackle on ronaldo that should have been a red. i dont remember it, but SAF thinks it should have been a red, so thats 10-10. And if Rooney got a card for diving, then so should jenas. that would be 2 yellows, another red for spurs. so it would have been 9 v 10 in uniteds favor. With that much space, do you think Ronaldo, Tevez, Anderson, Nani, and Rooney would have scored? yes. Too much room for ronaldo to dribble, so if all major calls had been right, you could say that united would have one. but its all moot now, and im not complaining.

roovez- they contained, and they were threatening more for 60 minutes of the game. we dominted the final third though, esp the last 10.

so we were outplayed for 2/3 the game. that is a majority.

The referee Clattenburg is the one who spoiled the game with his bag full of incorrect decisions otherwise what wd have been the season's tightest game. The pitch looked wet foling the smooth and slick one touch passing flow of Man United - I think Ronaldo was good but he was not too successful in negotiating the slow pace of the game so was not as lethal as he shd be

It makes me laugh how people tell others to 'get a life' for making a comment, but go on to write an A4 essay themselves which goes to show how much of a life they have, people like 'Roxi' 'Cantona' and 'cory'.

As a life long United fan I have to admit that we get decisions that other teams wouldnt get...no doubt jenas dived but as good a ronaldo is I'm embarresed to defend him cos of all the fu*king diving he does.

We are not perfect but we are close, the least we can do is admit when we had a bad performance and admit that tottenham deserved a win.

i honestly think the draw was fair. tottenham had the upper hand for 60 minutes, but we had them for 30. their goal camer from a handball, which is lame, but still, they probably deserved one anyway. we really put on the pressure late on, and we deserved the goal we got. and, our goal wasnt from a handball, nor was it a dawson own goal. so i think it was a fair result.

But Ferdinand and Rooney made a great job.. Rooney was the heart of the attack and Ferdinand defended many Switz's attack..

I tought Bentley and Joe Cole were awesome. These are the players that are capable to drive us to success.

But this side has great potential and it can produce magical stuff under Capello.

i think Rooney may have come back too soon, and never have fully recovered. After the suspension, we'll see SupeRoon again, and he'll bang in another 10 goals in about 8 games.
