We played well today but that's what big teams are supposed to do. Win difficult games but I think we'll do well this season if we can play like that

As a Chelsea fan I am pleased with the win, but I must say that I hope the defense tightens up a bit; they looked vulnerable. Also, congrats to Wigan on a good game, they are a dangerous team right now. I'm looking forward to a good season!

Beautiful goal by Deco. Wigan looked more of the dangerous side but thank god we have Cech! Cmon chelsea, forget last season and bring in the trophies!

Wigham would have won this one easy if it wasn't for PC in the goal.

I was very pleased by the play of Palacios in this game. Other then that handball he played a tremendous game for us
